Wilson, along with Mauratierney as well as Joshua Jackson won a Golden Globe for Best Actress for a Television Series-Drama in 2015. Wilson told British Vogue: "I love that I can play characters in two perspectives." Noah sees Alison to be this stylish and sexy version. However, she perceives herself differently, as someone who is shy and dowdy on the inside. She also said that she does not believe America to be morally upright. Wilson quit the show in 2018 to many fans' dismay, though she wasn't clear on the details. "The Little Stranger More recently Wilson has turned to more film work. In 2016, she was a part of the horror film I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House and in 2017 played the cryptic character PT Stella in the sci-fi romance How to Talk to Girls at Parties. In order to include more horror movies to her credits list, she will star in an upcoming British film adaptation of The Little Stranger. This supernatural thriller is based off the novel by Sarah Waters. Wilson will also be in charge of the production.
